For residential property managers in New South Wales
When you can’t pick up, it answers, writes it down, and texts you if it’s urgent.
AI Frontdesk answers the calls your agency misses after hours or while you’re at an inspection. It records maintenance requests and callbacks, and gets a burst pipe or a gas smell to a person who taps to take it.
Keeps your existing number. Switch it off from your own phone at any time.
How a missed call goes
The same steps whether it’s 2 pm on a Tuesday or 2 am on a Sunday.
-
You don’t pick up
Your mobile or office line forwards the calls you don’t answer. Callers dial your usual number.
-
It takes the details
It says it’s an AI assistant, then asks what’s wrong, where, since when, and the best callback number.
-
It saves before it confirms
The caller hears a reference number only after the request is stored. If saving fails, it says so.
-
Urgent problems reach a person
You get a text straight away. If nobody taps to take it, your backup is texted, then your manager.
-
The rest waits in your queue
Routine requests and callbacks are on your phone with the details and a call-back button.
What it will never do
A receptionist that guesses is worse than voicemail. These rules are built in and tested on every release.
- Give out tenant, owner, rent, bond or access details, whoever the caller says they are.
- Promise a repair time, a tradesperson, or a call back by a certain hour.
- Say someone has seen a request until a person has tapped to take it.
- Decide tenancy matters, approve spending or send a tradesperson.
- Leave someone in danger without telling them to call Triple Zero (000) first.
Set up for how NSW rentals work
It flags the problems NSW Fair Trading treats as urgent repairs, in the words tenants actually use, and leans towards alerting you when it isn’t sure.
- Burst water pipe
- Blocked or broken toilet
- Serious roof leak
- Gas leak
- Dangerous electrical fault
- Flooding or flood damage
- Storm or fire damage
- No power, gas or water
- No hot water
- Home can’t be locked
- Only answers you approve
- Office hours, service area, fees and other answers you sign off. Anything else becomes a callback.
- Matched to your properties
- Requests go to the right team from your property list, or to a central queue when the address is unclear.
- Data kept in Australia
- Calls are transcribed so it can understand the caller, never recorded. Request records are stored in Australia.
Try it with your own calls
We’re running pilots with a small number of Sydney agencies, starting with after-hours maintenance calls.
